Cross Stitch iPhone Case & a Giveaway

I bought an iPhone at the beginning of the year and have been on the hunt for a case for quite some time. On a recent shopping trip, I stumbled upon these cross stitch iPhone case kits. I decided to give it a try.

The kit comes with four different patterns and instructions, in addition to two blank charts in case you would want to design your own cross stitch pattern for the case.

I opted for the chevron pattern that the kit came with, but I only used the white floss that came with the packaging. I used some of the gold DMC floss I had in my embroidery supply box in order to create this white, black, & gold look.

The whole case was finished in one afternoon. I only stitched in white and gold. Because the case is black, I didn't think stitching in black would make a big difference, so I left it as is.

I enjoyed stitching this case and using it so much, that I am giving one away to one of you! All you have to do is leave me a comment here telling me what you love about cross stitch or embroidery, and you will be entered to win!

Deadline to enter is Monday, August 18, 2014 by Midnight (US Pacific time). This giveaway is open to everyone! This giveaway is now closed.

One winner will receive one cross stitch iPhone case kit that fits an iPhone 5 and includes: one perforated phone cover; 6 colors of 6-strand embroidery floss; 1 cross stitch needle; 4 patterns; Does NOT include the gold embroidery floss.

Good luck!

Looks so great! But leave me out of this giveaway as I wouldn't be able to cross stitch a damned thing for the life of me haha!
